PRR Headset for Motorola T Series Walkie Talkie

The PRR headset, like other commercially available handsfree for talkie or cell phone, has a mic and a speaker. This page discribes how to modify the PRR headset to fit Motorola T series talkies.

The modification requires:

- a plug for Motorola T series Talkie, which you can get one by cutting the handsfree you have, or get a suitable plug from hardware shop

- a switch, SPST

- a PRR headset

The modification is simple, just follows the schematics below:

Please note that we cannot guarantee all versions of headset has the same colour code. Please bear in mind that the 2 wires connects to the switch (and common) are usually a shield wire (which has coaxial shielding outside).

We make use a popular PTT switch of an old handsfree, and connects the wires to the PCB.
